Now as 'truck days' go, I'd say this truck is having a nice morning. Just coming across the Clearwater Memorial Causeway Bridge, the rising morning light reveals all her glory. Even thought it's slightly older model, that is a whole lot of truck. I love truck pictures.

Chevrolet C6500 monster hauling machine! As if the crew cab, the giant dually rear end and custom tanks weren't styling enough, there is an awesome stars and stripes flag mural on this truck that is just plain over the top. It seems to be a somewhat older model, but it sure looks good. I don't think this qualifies in the category of Chevrolet pickup trucks, it's way more than a pickup truck.

The more I look at this sweet puller, the more I want to call it a semi truck. I mean, it's not quite a Freightliner of course, but really...

As mentioned in a previous post, the Warpaint Offshore Racing Team can't seem to decide if they like Ford pickup trucks or GMC pickup trucks more. But then, maybe they realize they are both just as good. Of course, people who love Ford pickup trucks may argue that point, as might people who are fond of GMC pickup trucks.

Personally, I like just about ALL pickup trucks. You can't beat a good pickup truck for getting the job done. I can't imagine where we'd be in this country without our pickup trucks.

That's not a little title, but then, the Warpaint GMC 3500 pickup is no small truck. We are looking at a crew cab dually, I think 4X4 but cannot be 100% sure. Also, the badges indicate the presence of GMC's Duramax Diesel and an Allison Transmission. Yeah, this is no pizza delivery truck! This is a truck meant for towing on the long haul.

Oddly enough, the Warpaint Offshore Racing Team also runs a Ford F350 with the same paint job and graphics. Interesting. But that is for another post... stay tuned.

Wow, Popeye that! Talk about your big yellow machine! This is a Ford. I believe it is an F-650, or is that F650? I wish I only knew. Either way, it's way bigger than an F450, which is WAY bigger than an F250. Yeah, that's a lot of truck no matter how you look at it. Which was hauling a lot of boat. The Popeyes Offshore Racing Team.

What else do we like about this one? Well, it's a crew cab, and that rocks. The tinted windows, the graphics, and the way cool diamond plate steps that wrap around the gas tank all add up to a cool looking, get the job done rig.

Truck Pictures: RED Ford F250 Crew Cab Super Duty XLT Off Road 4X4 Pickup Truck

Yeah Baby! Can you say RED! That is one bright and shiny red Ford F250 pickup truck! Wow. I mean, don't get me wrong, it looks great and all... I just don't think I could drive it. I did notice the plate on the front... looks like maybe Coast Guard or something like that. So maybe that's the motivation for the red color. Either way, it's a nice truck! Got the new Super Duty styling on the front end. Looking like it's ready to pull houses off their foundations, ready to pull whatever you want from here to Alaska and back.

I like the tubular running board steps with marker lights, as well as the marker lights up on top. Surprised to see the manual hubs though... don't know much about that. I wonder if there is also an option to go 4X4 from inside the cab? Either way, this is a nice looking Ford truck that would do a person proud.

Wow, that is a freaking mouthful, but then, this is a big truck! This truck is not terribly flashy, but when you look closely, you can see that it is definitely decked out a bit. It's got the running boards, the bug deflector, the marker lights up on top... a super nice topper with matching paint job, and even electronic key pad entry on the driver's door. Wow. See, it doesn't look flashy, but it's got a little something going on, ya know!

It's a shame someone had to go and key it. Yeah, I don't think you can see it in this view, but there was an unhappy scratch down the driver's side. What's up with that?

Smooth Hauler: GMC 3500 Sierra 4X4 Crew Cab Dually w/ Duramax Diesel and Allison Transmission

Smooth is what comes to mind when I look at this high powered hauler by GMC. With the running boards and the bed lid topped off with the spoiler wing, she just looks like she's ready to run hard and long and fast. Add on the color matched bug deflector and the American flag plate on the front, and you have one classy pickup truck!

She's a GMC Sierra 3500 4X4. According to her badges, she's sporting a Duramax Diesel engine coupled to an Allison Transmission. Nice. Of course all that would be a waste without the dually rear end and the crew cab. I like it!

High Style Monster Hauler: Freightliner Business Class M2 Pickup Truck By Sport Chassis World

WOW. Talk about a whole lot of truck. I still can't quite get my head around this one. So while I try to do just that, let's start with the specs, as I know them... This started life as a Freightliner Trucks Business Class M2 chassis. Then it got 'the treatment' from Sport Chassis World that turned it into this sweet looking monster powerful long hauling ride.

This baby was hanging out at the Super Boat Offshore Racing Festival in Clearwater, Florida recently, where it was hooked up to one BAD-ASS Stihl racing boat. Talk about an over the top combination of power on land and on the water. Total head rush!

Snuck a shot of this hard working truck while I was on my way to work. Is this the classic All-American working truck or what? I mean, it's like America was built with pickup trucks. Or if not that, it is certainly maintained with pickup trucks. It's no wonder we all love pickup truck pictures. I mean, who doesn't? I like them all, even the hard working, dirty, banged up working trucks. To me they are just as cool as the slick, polished, maxed out show trucks that we can't get enough of either!

I'm not sure what year it is, but I can tell you it's a Ford F350 Super Duty, with the Power Stroke turbo diesel engine. Of course you can see it's a crew cab with the dually rear end too. She may not be pretty, but she's a WHOLE LOT of truck. I bet she'll carry just about anything, or tow just about anything, just about anywhere you want to go. Yeah, me wants one!

I mean, seriously, if you've got to be on the road for weeks at a time, hauling million dollar boats from one end of the country to the other, why not go in style and COMFORT! No, it's not the penthouse suite, but there seems to be a lot more room in the big black box on the back that I've seen on a lot of other trucks out there. Very nice.

Gives ya that whole hit the road and live for the moment feeling, eh? No? Oh well. No matter how you look at it, that there is one sweet looking Kenworth tractor. Weird missing the second rear axle though. But hey, if you're hauling trailered boats and all, maybe you just don't need it?

Truck Pics: Monster Truck: Eddie's Bar And Grill: 1990 Silverado 1500

Wow, now that's a way to get attention! No, it's not the biggest or anything like that, but it's a lot of fun just the same. This is the monster truck for Eddie's Bar And Grill, in Dunedin, Florida. I spotted it driving by late last night and had to stop for pics.

I met the manager and driver, Matt, and he was really cool about showing me the goods. It turns out it has a smoke machine with multiple nozzles. You can see some, because he was nice enough to come out and turn them on for me. But the wind kept blowing it away, so it's not totally awesome like it is usually. This thing also has a FLAME THROWER nozzle up front, in the mouth of the skull! Yeah, but I didn't get to see that last night. I asked him how it works in traffic, and we both just chuckled.

I look forward to stopping by in the daylight soon to get some more pics of this beast, and hopefully I will remember to ask lots more questions about it. He did tell me that before it morphed into a monster truck, this was a 1990 Chevy Silverado 1500. Yeah, well it ain't anymore! :O
